Experience the Musquodoboit River

A scenic, self-guided paddle along one of our river routes. Easy, relaxed, and suitable for all skill levels. Only 45 minutes from Halifax and 25 minutes from the Airport.

Most trips take 3 to 5 hours, depending on your pace and how often you stop to swim, snack, or take in the scenery. Shorter and longer options are available. We'll help you find the perfect paddle.​​​ â€‹â€‹

We take care of the logistics so you can simply show up and enjoy your time on the river. Your rental includes all paddling gear and shuttle service.

Kayak or Canoe?

Kayaks are perfect for couples, friends, and social paddling. You'll travel side-by-side, making it easy to chat and enjoy the experience together.  $45 per kayak/day.​​

Canoes are a great option if you need a bit more space. Ideal for bringing kids, pets, or extra gear along for the ride. The perfect choice for longer or overnight trips. $60 per canoe/day. 

Pair Your Paddle With...

Riverside Picnic

Skip the prep and enjoy a thoughtfully curated picnic on the river. Includes a charcuterie board, picnic blanket, glass wear, and cooler.​​​

​​​Best enjoyed on the Elderbank or Claypools routes.​

​$45 for two.

Scenic Hike

Pair your paddle with the Gibraltar Rock Loop and hike 350 million year old granite uplands to a breathtaking lookout over the river valley.​

Available on the Meaghers Grant route with shorter and longer paddling options.​

Backcountry Camping

Turn your paddle into an overnight escape. Paddle to a quiet backcountry site and spend the night surrounded by nature.​ A chance to slow down, unplug, recharge, and reconnect.
